Most people just think that muscles just associate with lifting heavy objects, but they do more than that! They ,together, control walking, sitting, standing, eating, and other daily functions that we consciously preform. They also maintain posture and circulating blood and other subtances through the body.
The Nervous System controls actions of the muscles. Muscles make up the more than half your body weight. The muscular system can be broken down into three types of muscles; skeletal, smooth, and cardiac.

- Skeletal Muscles: They are attached to two bones closer to each other to move parts of the bones that are closer to each other.
- Smooth Muscles: These are found in organs such as: the stomach, intestines, and blood vessels.
